It seems like ages ago and was in some respects, yet in other respects it was like “yesterday,” as we are seeing continued growth in the stereoscopic format.

Join Marty Shindler and LA ACM Siggraph on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 for another 3D panel entitled Stereo 3D Essentials: Capture to Conversion. Four essential subjects will be covered – stereo capture, stereo editing, stereo compositing, and stereo 3D conversion – with three outstanding presenters: James Neihouse, IMAX Stereographer and DP; Steve Wright, 20 year veteran and master Nuke trainer; and Jonathan Karafin, Director of Production Operations for Digital Domain’s new stereography department in Florida.
Marty will provide an overview from the business perspective as to how the industry has changed since 2005, provide a snapshot as to what it is today and provide a look to the future.
