Digital Hollywood continues to be an important conference for all things digital and Hollywood, today and into the future as technologies impact the industry and as we explore their business impact.

Once again, Marty Shindler moderated panels at the Spring 2013 Digital Hollywood Conference held at the Ritz Carlton, Marina del Rey, California.

The two panels were held Tuesday, April 30, 2013. They are:

At 7:45 AM is Cross-Platform Content – Analysts and Investment: A View from the Street – From Tablets and SmartPhones to 3D TV. As in the past, we had several leading industry analysts participating. They were Tom Adams, Director & Principal Analyst, US Media IHS Screen Digest; James C. Goss, Vice President and Senior Research Analyst, Barrington Research Associates, Inc.; James Marsh, Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst, Piper Jaffray; and, Michael Pachter, Managing Director, Equity Research, Wedbush Securities.

At 10:45 AM is The Blockbuster Strategy – Hollywood’s Billion Dollar Creative Edge – The Making of an Entertainment Franchise. Panelists included Ralph Alexander, Senior Executive Vice President, International Operations & Distribution, Sony Pictures Entertainment; Chris Edwards, CEO & Creative Director, THE THIRD FLOOR; Phil Groves, Senior Vice President, IMAX Corp & Executive Vice President, Global Distribution, IMAX Entertainment; Robert Lenihan, President of Programming for AMC Entertainment Inc.
